Villa Verdini
Calamandrana, 2020–2021
Architectural restoration between history and modernity
The restoration of Villa Verdini focuses on enhancing the existing structure, maintaining the layout and materials of the main living areas, with their original floors and restored frescoes.
The rustic section, while retaining its exposed stone walls and original sunshades, has been redesigned with contrasting modern openings, creating a dialogue between the ancient and the contemporary.
Great attention was paid to the choice of materials, favoring handcrafted and customized products for elements such as the taps, the new decorated cement tile floors, and the two custom-designed and built kitchens.
