Geometries and natural essences :
a Contemporary Interpretation of the Braida Tradition
The redevelopment project of the sales outlet and tasting area of the winery Braida di Giacomo Bologna was conceived with the aim of creating a harmonious dialogue between the winery's identity, its history and the surrounding landscape.

The design concept draws inspiration from the evocative atmosphere of the barrique cellar, the beating heart of the winery. The geometries of the floors and the warmth of the oak of the barriques have been reinterpreted in a contemporary way, resulting in custom-made tiles and furniture designed to enhance the uniqueness of the place.

The need to optimize the exhibition space guided the design of innovative plant solutions. Heating and ventilation systems were integrated into the wooden portals that punctuate the space, architectural elements that recall the sinuous shapes of barrels and conceal ventilation and lighting systems within them.
