Geometries and natural essences:
a contemporary interpretation of the Braida tradition
The redevelopment project for the sales outlet and tasting area of Giacomo Bologna's Braida winery was conceived with the aim of creating a harmonious dialogue between the company's identity, its history, and the surrounding landscape.
The design concept draws inspiration from the evocative atmosphere of the barrel cellar, the beating heart of the winery. The geometry of the floors and the warmth of the oak barrels have been reinterpreted in a contemporary key, giving rise to custom-made tiles and furnishings designed to enhance the uniqueness of the place.
The need to optimize the exhibition space guided the design of innovative plant solutions. The heating and ventilation systems have been integrated into the wooden portals that divide the space, architectural elements that recall the sinuous shapes of barriques and conceal ventilation and lighting systems inside them.
