Therefore, the use of environmentally friendly, durable and reusable natural materials, careful water management and the installation of efficient systems powered by self-generated energy is essential.

The firm is organized to be able to support clients through all phases of the project by coping with the different needs that may arise, from concept to completion. If the client wishes, we can provide assistance prior to the purchase of a property for renovation and the due diligence of the area in question, i.e., the activity of investigating and assessing the economics and conformity of the building. We then take care of the geometric and building systems survey, analysis of area regulations and constraints; these steps then allow us to arrive at the project making, which we develop through elaboration of detailed floor plans, 3d models and photo realistic renderings. Once we arrive at an approved and shared solution, we coordinate for the submission of permit applications to the relevant authorities. We handle the executive design phase in preparation for th construction site along with the definition and assessment of project costs: in this phase the definition of interior materials and finishes also takes place. Finally, we take care of the construction management and practices related to the conclusion of the project.

General timeframes vary according to the size, complexity of the intervention and also the needs of the client. In general, the survey, existing condition analysis and design definition phase takes about six months. 

Then, in the time pending approval of the intervention by the relevant offices, the costs are defined and the companies that will intervene in the execution of the work are chosen. 

Construction duration may vary depending on the size of the operation, but averages around 12 months.

Certainly. Before proceeding with the proposal of an estimate we normally meet with new potential clients to assess together their needs and expectations related to the project, and we also visit the property or area of operation and proceed to prepare a detailed estimate specifying the services offered and the stages in which we intend to develop the design work and the related costs. 

Yes, in most cases we work with a team of trusted professionals with whom we deal during all phases of the project, from preliminary drawings to construction management: structural engineers, electrical, mechanical, acoustic, geologists, etc. These expertise are necessary both to produce complete and functional designs and to produce all the mandatory technical documents to be submitted to the relevant offices. Our estimate normally already includes all these expertise, but we are however always open to new collaborations if the client already have a team of trusted designers to suggest to us. 

The firm does not directly carry out building and construction activities, but over the years we have established several contacts with trusted contractors and craftsmen that we can suggest. However, we want the client to be free to choose who to entrust with the work independently: that is why we always ask for 3 quotes from different construction companies in order to provide all the necessary tools to make a free and informed choice.

Once we arrive at a final design shared and approved by the client, we take care of drawing up a metric bill listing all the activities to be carried out and the materials needed, accompanied by the quantities required. This document is then shared with 3 firms chosen by the clients or suggested by us, so that we can then compare the bids received and determine with the clients which firm to award the job to.
